MIP: Government Approves Ukraine NOW Brand-Book
On 26 September 2018, the specification standard (brand-book) of the use of Ukraine NOW brand was adopted at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
The document, drafted by the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine, sets out key requirements of the use of Ukraine’s single brand in various fields.
“Appropriate recommendations will be made to bodies of state power, business, and local self-government,” Prime Minister Volodymyr Hroisman of Ukraine said.
According to Artem Bidenko, MIP’s State Secretary, the design of the brand-book cost no public money, with necessary funding provided by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
“The brand-book embodies key elements of the Ukraine NOW communication strategy. We talk about people, about opportunities, about resolved action here and now. The single brand seeks to spread this philosophy -- "here and now” -- among Ukrainians as well, and encourage foreigners to acquaint themselves with our country,” Mr Bidenko said when presenting the brand-book.
He stressed Ukraine NOW brand was completely open for use provided that the specification standards established are followed.
Earlier, on 10 May 2018, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved Ukraine NOW brand, which was created by Ukraine-based Banda Agency within the framework of the Commission for Promotion of Ukraine under the Ministry of Information Policy.
In August, Ukraine’s brand was given the RedDot Design Award, one of the most respected awards in the design world, in the Corporate Identity nomination.
