BREAKING: Russia Still Impeding Movement of Vessels to Ukrainian Ports
The Russian Federation is still impeding movement of vessels through the Kerch Strait it has occupied, violating international law.
The strait, which under the 1982 UN Convention on the Law of the Sea is used for international navigation, and adjacent areas have seen ships bunching up.
As on the morning of December 7th, more than 140 ships, with 98 from the Black Sea, were moored in the area, waiting to be able to cross the Kerch Strait, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine has reported.
