BREAKING: Ukraine, Lithuania to Jointly Resist Russian Aggression, Presidents Agree
Joint and coordinated resistance to Russia's aggression remains at the top of the agenda of talks between Presidents Petro Poroshenko and Dalia Grybauskaitė of Ukraine and Lithuania, respectively.
The President of Ukraine thanked the Lithuanian side for its resolute condemnation of Russia's recent act of aggression in the Black Sea, when Russian occupants used fire weapon to capture Ukrainian sailors and ships.
"I and Ms President agreed that we will not only condemn but also act jointly to make the aggressor pay a higher price for its aggressive conduct. I do not doubt that our European partners are well aware of the gravity of the situation and are ready to take appropriate action," Mr Poroshenko was quoted as saying.
