MIP in JFO Zone: In Khvorostianivka Village Council, Ukrainian TV Channels Available via Digital Network
The Monitoring Mission of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine has analysed television and radio broadcasting in the Khvorostianivka village council of the Starobilsk district, the Donetsk region.
“There are enough Ukrainian TV channels available via the digital network. More than half of the residents have T2 [digital television], the others use satellite television,” reports Oleksandr Bryhynets, the Adviser to the Minister of Information Policy on Broadcasting Renewal and Ukraine’s MP, who heads the Mission.
According to Liudmyla Pokaliuk, the head of the village council, there are several Internet providers in the village, and a lot of people access information online.
It should be noted that during the work of the Commission on Ensuring the Stable Broadcasting of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting System of Ukraine, four television towers have been constructed: in Kramatorsk, the Donetsk region (5 December 2016); in Chonhar, the Kherson region (17 March 2017); in Bakhmutivka, the Luhansk region (22 August 2017); and in Hirnyk (30 September 2018).
