Presidents of Ukraine and Kazakhstan Held a Working Meeting in Kyiv. Following the talks of the presidents with participation of government representatives of the two countries, basic agreements were reached in terms of enhancing the cooperation in energy, engineering, aircraft building, space industries, extension of cooperation in military and engineering and information fields to ensure the sovereignty of both countries.
President of Ukraine thanked the President of Kazakhstan for his clear position regarding the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine. "I am very grateful for the strong and consistent position in support of the independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine", the President of Ukraine stressed.
In his turn, the President of Kazakhstan congratulated Ukraine on successfully held democratic elections and expressed his willingness to promote the restoration of economic cooperation between the two countries way and accelerate the peace process in Donbas in every possible.
Following the meeting, the Minister of Information Policy of Ukraine Yurii Stets stressed that the development of cooperation between the two governments in the field of information security will make it possible to create effective mechanisms for the exchange of information, make Ukrainian government’s position clear and ensure the sovereignty of Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
